Ms Jin Loh’s strong academic background reflects her commitment, discipline, and consistency long before she became an international music educator. She was a top academic performer—ranking first in class during her final two years of secondary school—and was entrusted with the role of school prefect for approximately four years.
Her choice to pursue music was never due to a lack of academic ability, but rather a deliberate decision driven by passion, dedication, and a deep respect for the art of learning. This same spirit of discipline and excellence forms the foundation of her teaching today. Ms Jin Loh encourages her students to embody these qualities as part of their musical growth and personal development.

Certified in Ba Duan Jin Health Qigong, a classical Chinese movement system with over 800 years of history, completed through formal training and assessment. In addition to her professional career in music education, classical ballet training, and certification as a Western Sound Healing Therapist (UK), Ms. Jin Loh has expanded her studies into traditional Chinese movement(中国八段锦气功)and music philosophy.
Ms Jin Loh completed formal training and certification in Health Qigong Ba Duan Jin 中国八段锦气功 (Eight Brocades) — under the instruction of Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor at Beijing Sport University, national athlete and world champion, and national demonstrator of Health Qigong systems.
This structured training included technical execution, breath coordination, energetic alignment, and the cultural and therapeutic foundations of each movement within the classical system.
Alongside movement studies, Ms. Jin Loh is also researching traditional Chinese music-based healing principles rooted in the Huangdi Neijing (黄帝内经), particularly the relationship between tonal systems and the five internal organ networks in classical Chinese medicine (黄帝内经五行养生音乐五音疗疾).
While her primary professional focus remains international music education, these cross-cultural studies deepen her understanding of breath control, embodied awareness, emotional regulation, and the integration of sound and movement — enriching her holistic perspective on artistic development.
